Why it happens
Mobile operators and home providers pass traffic differently. If only your operator has outages or restrictions, Telegram works on Wi-Fi but not on the mobile network.
Sometimes the cause is simpler: a weak signal, a used-up data plan or data saver mode on the phone.
What to do
- Check that other websites open on mobile data. If they don’t, Telegram is not the problem.
- Turn off data saver for Telegram in the phone’s settings.
- Turn on a proxy: tap “Connect” next to any proxy in the list below.
- If it didn’t help, take another one, preferably marked Fake TLS: such proxies are harder to detect and block.
- Keep two or three proxies in Telegram: if one stops working, switch to another with a single tap.
The proxy works on Wi-Fi too
A proxy in Telegram is on for every network at once. On Wi-Fi it does no harm but may add a little delay — you can switch it off in the same settings.
